Visiting by car

The main routes of the A12 and A14 serve the town well offering easy access from all areas of the country. Car parking is plentiful with N.C.P, Ipswich Borough Council and other independent car parks. If you are using a sat nav please enter postcode IP1 1SL.

Our 420 space short stay car park is completely integrated with the main shopping complex via the Central Rotunda. Finding the car park is also simple with signposts on just about every main approach to the town just follow the “Buttermarket” or “Shopmobility” signs and drive in, a height limit of 6′ 8″ (2m) will allow pretty well all passenger vehicles easy parking.

Visiting by train

Main line trains from London Liverpool Street take around 65 minutes, then a ten minute walk to the Centre of the town. There are countless bus lines running from the train station to the shopping centre.

Visiting by bus

There is a bus stop within 150 metres of the shopping centre. National Express operate from the Old Cattlemarket Bus Station which is situated a stones throw from the main shopping area, this facility offers good value access whatever your starting point. Services which run to the shopping centre are 4, 6, 12, 13, 14, 15, 71, 72, 111, 111A, 75, 179 and X7.

Ipswich Buses and Eastern Counties operate services throughout the town and surrounding villages as well as three Park and Ride sites at Whitehouse, Copdock and Martlesham.
