Ed Sheeran Mural

The Buttermarket Centre is proud to present a new mural of Ed Sheeran by local artist Keith Hopewell, part of the “Paint the Town Pink” campaign. The artwork features Ed alongside Ipswich Town Football Club’s Pink Kit, celebrating local culture and community. Visitors are encouraged to view the mural and enjoy the growing arts scene in Ipswich.

Look out for pink plaques marking each spot, and discover three other murals celebrating Ed around town. The trail offers a unique glimpse into the local places that shaped Ed’s journey to global fame.

Window Dressing Competition

Ipswich Central has launched a window dressing competition, with shops decorating their windows in pink inspired by Ed Sheeran’s ‘Play’ tour colors, his pink heart balloon from the Azizam video, and the Ipswich Town third kit for 2024/25. Take a stroll around town, explore the different windows, and decide which one is your favourite!
